Shipping Information

At The Boho House, each piece is thoughtfully sourced and prepared with care. Because of the nature of our collections, shipping methods and delivery timelines may vary depending on the item.

Processing & Lead Times

Orders are typically processed within 2–5 business days.

Many of our furniture pieces are made-to-order or sourced from specialized vendors.
Please allow up to 6–8 weeks for production and shipment on select furniture items.

Estimated lead times are listed on individual product pages when applicable

Shipping Methods

We utilize a variety of trusted carriers to ensure safe and reliable delivery.
While UPS may appear at checkout, your order may ship via UPS, FedEx, or a specialized freight carrier depending on the size and nature of the item.

Furniture Delivery (Freight Shipping)

Larger furniture items ship via freight carrier and include:

  • Curbside delivery (delivery to the end of your driveway or property)
  • Scheduled delivery appointments in most cases
  • Signature required upon delivery

Please note:
Customers are responsible for bringing items inside and for any necessary assembly unless otherwise specified or requested by customer.

Shipping Costs & Promotions

We occasionally offer free shipping on select items.
Please note:

  • Free shipping promotions exclude furniture
  • Furniture orders may include additional delivery and handling fees
  • All applicable shipping costs will be clearly displayed at checkout

Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information so you can follow your delivery.

We currently ship within the continental United States.

Return Eligibility

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery on eligible items.

To qualify for a return, items must be:

  • In original, unused condition
  • Returned in their original packaging
  • Accompanied by the original packing slip

Items that do not meet these conditions may not be eligible for a refund.

Return Shipping

If your item is not damaged or defective:

  • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

This includes any outbound shipping fees, even on orders that qualified for free shipping promotions.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging.

We will work quickly to resolve the issue with a replacement or refund where appropriate.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items may be final sale or non-returnable due to their nature. These will be clearly noted on the product page.

How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, please contact us with your order number and reason for return. We’ll provide next steps and return instructions.

Many of our furniture pieces are made-to-order or sourced from individual vendors, and as a result, return eligibility and restocking fees may vary by item.

  • Some furniture items may be final sale and not eligible for return
  • Approved returns may be subject to restocking fees
  • Return shipping for furniture is the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrives damaged or defective
  • Original shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable

Damaged or Defective Furniture

All furniture shipments should be inspected upon delivery.

If your item arrives damaged:

  • Note any visible damage with the delivery driver at the time of delivery
  • Take photos of the packaging and product
  • Contact us within 48 hours

Failure to report damage within this window may impact our ability to file a claim or offer a resolution.


Return Approval Required

Furniture returns must be approved prior to being sent back.

Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, your refund will be issued to the original form of payment.

Please allow several business days for processing after the return is delivered.
